Story

Bal Vikas Mitra Mandal has celebrated Ganeshotsav in Narayan Peth for three quarters of a century, marking its 75th festival year in 2025 with a replica of the Sri Venkateshwara Temple of Tirupati — complete with a Vaikunth scene of Vishnu resting on Sheshnaga welcoming devotees into the mandapam. Its ambitious devotional recreations have made it a fixture on the old-city circuit alongside Kesari Wada and Garud Ganpati.
