Story

Established in 1978 at Garud Ganpati Chowk in Narayan Peth, Shree Garud Ganpati Mandal is known for bringing intense spiritual themes to life — a recent dekhava depicted Kal Bhairav, the fierce protective form of Shiva, symbolising the destruction of evil. Since 2015 the mandal has joined hands with the neighbouring Shri Gajanan Mandal for a combined visarjan miravnuk on Laxmi Road — a social gesture two mandals have kept up every year since.
