Story
The Jilbya Maruti temple earned its sweet name generations ago, when a sweet-shop owner offered garlands of jalebis to the deity. The Ganeshotsav mandal that grew around it was established in 1954 and has become a landmark of devotional creativity in Sadashiv Peth — recent dekhavas have recreated all twelve Jyotirlingas in a single pandal, letting devotees take a symbolic pilgrimage across India without leaving Pune.
