Natu Baug Ganpati
Natu Baug Ganpati
VerifiedBajirao Road
Bajirao Road’s dazzling musical light show — thousands of synchronized bulbs dancing to music from sunset to midnight, unmatched anywhere in Pune.
Story
Natu Baug carries the name of Balasaheb Natu, one of the citizens present at the 1892 meeting where Pune decided to take Ganeshotsav public. Today the mandal is known city-wide for its larger-than-life light displays: the bulb count grows every year, and the patterns run in sync with music in a show that has no equal at any other pandal. The mandal is also noted for building its pandal without digging up the road — festival spectacle with civic care.
During the festival
Synchronized musical light show every evening of the festival, sunset to midnight.
Visit
Come after sunset — the light show runs into the night. Bajirao Road stays walkable but crowded.
The display is the draw; darshan queues move steadily.
